Our seasonal camp site holds an unrivalled position overlooking the beautiful, historic market town of Ludlow and its impressive Norman castle with picturesque views of the surrounding South Shropshire hills. This small, friendly, quiet farm site has 11 level grass standings with electric hook-up and extra space on the slope for tents. We offer two hard standing pitches.

TENTS, TOURING CARAVANS AND MOTOR HOMES - all welcome.
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times and walked off-site.

We will choose the most suitable pitch for your requirements at the time of booking, and we use the information provided to pitch you correctly. If your requirements change before you arrive, you must let us know, as it may invalidate your booking. If we cannot accommodate your booking amendments, no refund will be given. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the correct information regarding your vehicle and pitch requirements.
Any extras not pre-booked will be added upon arrival and will incur a fee. Please note, we may not be able to accommodate awnings/additional tents without notice.
Our hook-up pitches are grassed and marked. There are sloping grassed pitches available WITHOUT electric hook-up. These pitches are suitable for tents and small campervans with chocks/levellers
We do not offer grass pitches for large vehicles due to the weight and access restrictions.
We have two hardstanding pitches, one with a small grass area to sit out, the second pitch without. Both these pitches are not suitable for an awning (please see photos on the gallery page).
An additional per night charge of £5.00 is added to vehicles over 7.3M. Please do not take offence should we feel the need to measure your unit on arrival to confirm the provided measurement.

Booking is essential for both level and sloped pitches as the camp site will be full and you will not get on site without prior booking.

Deposit amount: £100.00 per week or the full amount, whichever is less. Payment via bank transfer, details provided upon confirmation. Full payment is due upon arrival.

Arrival Times: Office open from 2pm. Early arrivals not guaranteed. No arrivals after 9pm.
Departure Times: Vacate pitches by 11am. Late departures by 5pm by prior arrangement (fees apply).
Ludlow is a medieval town containing many interesting and ancient buildings, including the Norman castle, the 15th century Parish Church, the nearby Readers House, the famous half-timbered Feathers Hotel and the Portcullis gatehouse in the wall of the old town. Ludlow has ample restaurants, pubs and cafe's to suit all pockets and palates. Guided town walks available Easter to October. Nearest pub (1. mile). The Linney recreation ground which runs along side the River Teme with a seasonal boating and putting area (1.2 miles). The towns Leisure Centre and swimming pool are (2. miles) and Mortimer Forest next door!
BY RAIL: Ludlow is reached from London (Paddington) via Newport, Monmouthshire. Rail services also connect to Shrewsbury and the North and the Midlands; and to South Wales and the South West.
BY BUS: Bus services run to Birmingham and Shrewsbury; and to Hereford connecting with the coach service to London (Victoria Coach Station).
